The Director of the company doesn’t just spend his days giggling in his office, watching BBC’s Walk on the Wild Side. Paul was also the coach of his son’s local football team, Aspatria Juniors FC but their capabilities were limited by the facilities their village hall could provide. The goalposts were literally jumpers! A collection of the boys’ jumpers to mark them out.
Supply It Site Services contributed £400 to the club to put towards buying new pop up goals for the team. The players were over the moon, but more importantly, who was going to win the crossbar challenge?…it certainly wasn’t Paul!
The team has continued to train and play and have grown from strength to strength. Alex has now moved onto join the Keswick team, which allows Paul to kick back and watch from the sidelines.
